FM Aerial & Movement Arts is a studio dedicated to aerial and movement arts. The owner, Yvette Reyes, stepped into the ownership role on April 1st, 2019 and re-named the studio with hopes of being the first dedicated aerial arts studio in North Dakota. Originally, the studio only offered pole and we are happy to have added an aerial program in 2021.
We currently have two spaces: Unit A & C. Unit A is the original studio, a pole studio with 8 poles and it is where we currently have pole, chair, and floorwork classes. Unit C is the aerial studio where we have a truss designed and installed by Vertical Art Dance, it currently has 4 rigging points and also has a space in the back for lyra pole and access to the patio. The aerial studio is where we hold classes for silks, lyra, and lyra pole (lollipop lyra).

Safety:
Being that aerial arts is still very new, it is not widely known that a human body can generate upwards of 2k lbs of force! Being that the structural engineers in the area have not specialized in aerial arts, we decided to outsource our truss to professionals who work in our industry to create the safest structure that you will find in ND.
We also believe in empowering people to make the best choices for themselves and to be advocates for their own safety. If you have questions about any of our equipment, usage, or concerns, we urge you to please contact us and share your needs.

Yvette Reyes -OwnerYvette Reyes is a first generation American who grew up in rural Minnesota. She attended United World College-USA, in Montezuma NM, and completed a Welding Diploma at NCTC-TRF. She started pole classes after moving to the Fargo area for a job opportunity, and added in aerial silks and lyra throughout the years. In 2019 she acquired the assets from the studio where she took her first class and started FM Aerial & Movement Arts. In November of 2021, she decided to semi-retire from welding after 6.5 years and focus on running the studio full time. Yvette loves to learn and is known to travel just to take aerial and pole classes and workshops to further her education. You can see her around at community events, performing in various capacities, or at the studio where she teaches classes.
