Emily is an aerialist and modern dancer who blends disciplines into contemporary Aerial Dance. A lover of all things air-bound, Emily is a multi-disciplinary artist who choreographs, performs, instructs and trains in Lyra, Trapeze, Silks, Corde Lisse and Sling. She has been combining high flying, dynamic skill with detailed, complex movement since 2013, teaching dance in its many forms since 2014 along with fitness, flexibility and wellness classes since 2013. Aerial Dance Spin, climb, fly and groove your way into the unique world of aerial dance! In this class, we will be combining aerial art with contemporary dance floor work, and we will explore both grounded earth movement, as well as elevated air movement. In this class you will learn the foundations of aerial technique and dance in an environment that is warm, fun and safe for everyone. This unique art is for you! Leave your doubts at the door and enjoy!
Private Lessons Looking to grow, explore and find your artistic voice? Whether your goal is expanding your horizons, or blazing a brand new path for yourself, these classes are all about you! You’ll be working with Emily one on one to grow into your own aerial voice. You’ll also be building up your foundational aerial technique on an apparatus of your choosing, and diving deeper into more advanced training and techniques with lesson plans tailored specifically to you.
Each 90 minute class is $85. If you commit to three classes the price lowers to $75 per class.
Openings include Monday 10:30am-12pm or 4:30pm-6pm Tuesday 10:30am-12pm or 4:30pm-6pm Wednesday 10:30am-12pm or 4:30pm-6pm Thursday 10:30am-12pm or 4:30pm-6pm Saturday anytime between 1pm-4:30pm
Only one student will be taught per day. If none of these times will work for you, please reach out to Emily as there may be other options. Students ages 13 and up are welcome. Ages 13-17 require parental permission.
Apparatus Options Lyra This pleasing metal hoop is best known for its ability to spin and move dynamically. Its solid framework, and its ability to be used at any height, offers a world of fluid and creative movement for you to explore.
Silks This beautiful pair of long, flowing fabrics is best known for its elegance, height and ability to be both soft and dynamic. So many possibilities! *
Sling/Hammock This welcoming loop of fabric provides both comfort, and a surprising challenge. Seemingly simple, sling has many secrets, skills and opportunities waiting for you to discover. *

Class structure Safety In accordance with national aerial instruction and safety standards, we will provide you with an individual, sanitary apparatus while you provide your own mask (masks are required, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be cute!). For your safety and comfort, we will also be practicing social distance, while remaining in close communication. Classes will be open air in the great outdoors. Who doesn’t love fresh air? If you have any additional concerns or questions, please reach out! Your safety and experience is top priority!
Attire Please arrive in clothing that is form fitting and flexible. To protect your skin, please cover the backs of your knees and midsection. It is also important that you bring a layer that covers your armpits and shoulders. A leotard and leggings do a wonderful job of this!
Items Please bring water (or a vessel to fill at the water fountain), a light snack if desired and a notebook/pencil.
