As we wrap up the end of the summer, we have exciting news to share: for the rest of August/September we will be offering a variety of outdoor lessons. We are equipped with an engineer-stamped 19ft standing truss that allows us to safely teach aerial arts outside in our backyard. Actively enjoy the end of summer by trying out something new! We have two wonderful instructors with years of experience that are ready to help you achieve your goals, on the ground and in the air.
You may have seen us around at Night Bazaar, Aronia Berry Festival, our pop-up classes at Thunder Coffee, or at last year's Christkindlmarkt. We've received inquiries as to when we would begin teaching aerial classes. However, because of the worldwide situation with covid, and trying to find an adequate space with enough ceiling height, we had to re-imagine how we were going to begin offering aerial arts classes. Because of this, we are taking precautions by only offering private lessons, or semi-privates for household members only, and only outdoors at the moment. In this way, we can be sure to keep contact to a very minimum, and to be surrounded by fresh air at every moment. Additional information will be sent when booking a private lesson.
Kati Rose Hicks
Hula hooper, aerialist, boarding extraordinaire. Is there anything this woman can't do? You may have seen her skate/longboarding downtown with a hoop in her hand, or at various outdoor events in the last couple of years such as Pioneer Days and Night Bazaar. Kati was part of the duo act that performed for Christkindlmarkt and Aronia Berry Festival. All of the galaxy murals inside the studio are her original work.
Kati offers private lessons for lyra (as seen pictured) hula hoop, juggling, and skate/longboarding. She has equipment to share so that you do not need to bring your own.
