Aerial Arts at FM Aerial & Movement ArtsHere at FM Aerial & Movement Arts we are happy to announce that as of May 2021, we were able expand to finally offer aerial arts classes to the FM and surrounding area. As aerial art is very new to the community, please do not mistake it for aerial yoga. Our goal is the pursuit of creative expression through amazing feats of strength and grace. We offer intro, beginner, and mixed levels classes. Our truss was manufactured and installed by Vertical Art Dance, engineered specifically for the type of dynamic activity that we do. Each rigging point, hardware, and fabric is rated for over 2 thousand of pounds. We regularly inspect carabiners/swivels/fabrics. Your safety is our priority! |

Mixed Levels Aerial Silks
You will have a much easier time (AKA Prerequisites) if you can:
Standard/French Climb twice on each side.
Easily straddle in the knot.
Tie a footlock using only one hand.
If these all sound good to you, then GREAT! Welcome to Mixed Levels Aerial Silks.
In this class we we will continue to work on strengthening basic technique, introduce different grips, entries into crossback, and higher level knot-play. We will also practice sequencing and starting to add in *essence*. Over time, we will add drops.
