Pole for Beginners with RoseE
Pole for Beginners is a certified 100% scary-free class for first-time and still-learning polers who are kinda terrified. Build strength, flexibility, confidence and awesomeness in a safe, positive environment that's like playing on a jungle gym, except without the bullies, because who needs'em?
To attend this class, you must:
1. Register Online 2. Acknowledge the Terms & Conditions 3. Pay ($15 per class) through Venmo @Rose-Hadden or Paypal @rosehadden1
There quite a few aspects that are unique to pole that are hard to train at the gym or at home. Just to name a few: coordination around a fixed point, seeing the world upside down, and pain tolerance in our tender bits such as under the arms and tops of the feet. Additionally, we want to keep safety in mind as we are all trying to regain our strength after weeks off due to the chaos that the world has been thrown into. This is the reason for Back on the Pole: Conditioning. This class is designed to get people who have previously pole danced to regain their strength, pain tolerance, and mobility back safely through conditioning exercises on and off the pole. We are currently suspending the use of mats and props, so we will be using the pole as our only equipment. If you are someone who does not have a home pole (or it has been collecting dust for many weeks/months), and used to be a part of a regular pole class, then this is a good class for you to ease back into a pole practice. This class is 90 minutes and $20. Pole shorts are required.
Back On the Pole: Conditioning Class Times
**Note: Must have at least 3 people signed up for class not to be cancelled. If you have signed up for a class and it is cancelled, we will call you to reschedule, or refund you the full amount. If you try to sign up online and are not able to find the signup, that means we have reached our max amount of students, or have cancelled that class time for that day.
Open Studio is usually known as an extra practice time for pole dancers. Since many people do not have poles at home, we offer our poles for you to use for the hour. This is a time to really work through the skills that you have learned in previous classes at your own pace. No instruction is given during this time. Inverting is not allowed without instructor approval. If you are part of a regular class, or have been pole dancing for a number of months and want an extra hour to really solidify your skills, this is a good one to sign up for. $10/hr
Intro to Pole is our most basic class. In this class, we teach you the very fundamentals to help you transition into our beginner classes. All the skills taught in this class have at least one foot on the floor to help you with balance and coordination. This class can be taken as many times as you feel comfortable. The same skills will be taught in every class. This is great for if you want to try it out first, and then invite your friends, knowing what to expect. Comfy clothes are appropriate, shorts are not required. Yoga pants or sweats are fine. $10/class
Open Studio//Intro to Pole = Open Studio + Intro to Pole. Typically, when we host either an Open Studio or an Intro to Pole class, we will get maybe one or two students in class, so hopefully in this way, we can avoid cancelling either class for not meeting the 3 person minimum. As instructors, we will be able to teach newbies the basics of pole, instead of awkwardly trying to hide in the office while people are practicing in the studio. We will put up a studio divider for the self-conscious dancer/newbie. When signing up online you will be asked whether you are planning on using the space for personal practice (Open Studio), or signing up for the Intro class.
Open Studio//Intro to Pole Class Times
Sunday: 8-9pm **Note: Must have at least 3 people signed up for class not to be cancelled. If you have signed up for a class and it is cancelled, we will call you to reschedule, or refund you the full amount. If you try to sign up online and are not able to find the signup, that means we have reached our max amount of students, or have cancelled that class time for that day.
Experience: Previously completed an Intro to Pole Series, or have attended Back on the Pole Conditioning, OR be willing to learn on the go. We just want to make sure you have covered the “basics” of: walk, dip, hip rolls, fan kick, flying fireman, back bend, pole ups, knee ups. If you have questions please message us or email at email@example.com
"Pole Wear": Pole shorts are required (think spandex volleyball) and can be worn underneath yoga pants if cold/uncomfortable. Heels are encouraged but not required. If bringing heels, they absolutely must have straps. Knee pads are highly encouraged.
What to expect:
To have FUN, SWEAT a little … or lotta bit, and feel SEXY. We want you to be able to come into class excited to get your butt kicked and to explore new shape*ortunities. We will cover mini movement exercises that are targeted towards building your strength, flexibility, and overall movement quality. Few new strength tricks will be covered in class, as the goal is to use and build on the skills you have already acquired. This class is progressive in that you will be challenged wherever you are in your pole practice, and can be modified as needed. (However, please do not come to class if you are seriously injured or nursing an injury.) Everyone will have a chance to pitch in to create a mini routine together at the end, based on the skills we covered in that particular class.
This class is drop-in style and suitable for most levels (see "requirements" above). This class will be 90minutes long to accommodate a wider ranger of strength levels. This will be a heels and flow focused class. Although heels are not required, knee pads are HIGHLY encouraged. If wearing heels, shoes must have straps. Again, pole shorts are required. This class is $20 for 90min.
Mixed Level Pole Flow Class Times:
Sunday: 6-7:30pm **Note: Must have at least 3 people signed up for class not to be cancelled. If you have signed up for a class and it is cancelled, we will call you to reschedule, or refund you the full amount. If you try to sign up online and are not able to find the signup, that means we have reached our max amount of students, or have cancelled that class time for that day.
Strengthen your muscles. Smooth out your transitions. Grow your confidence.
This 90 minute class is designated to help you master your heels, whether you are new and want to finesse your walk and hip movements, or are ready to take on spin pole and string moves together into seamless combinations. We have something no matter your level of pole experience.
If you are looking for a “traditional pole” class, this is the place to be. Your instructor has years of experience in the exotic setting. She is ready to help you leave that colt-stage of wearing heels and transform into the stallion you are meant to be, equipped with daggers on each foot. All you need is a positive attitude, booty shorts, and a pair of heels, and we’ll take care of the rest.
This class is 18+ and gender inclusive. Please make sure to have straps on your heels. Knee pads are encouraged.
If you are in need of shoes, consider shopping local. Romantix, Sam and Delilah, and Enchantasys all carry dancer-approved heels. Don’t forget to choose a pair with ankle straps.
Class is $20 and 90min.
Mixed Level Heels Class Times:
Tuesday's: 6:30-8pm **Note: Must have at least 3 people signed up for class not to be cancelled. If you have signed up for a class and it is cancelled, we will call you to reschedule, or refund you the full amount. If you try to sign up online and are not able to find the signup, that means we have reached our max amount of students, or have cancelled that class time for that day.

Hello! My name is Yvette and I am excited to share this space and practice with you.
Come learn the basics of pole dance in a warm, friendly environment. This class will be modified to fit the skills and goals of the students in class, so please sign up in advance if you are interested so that I can better plan out the curriculum for the week. Beginner skills include: pirouettes, climbs, sits, and spins. For skills such as climbs and sits, I will work with you progressively so that you build the muscle and tolerance to do so confidently, when you are ready. The most important part is that you feel safe and confident to try skills at your own pace.
We keep classes small, not only because of the risk of covid (ugh) but because we want to facilitate an environment where you feel comfortable being yourself. All I ask is that you come to class with an open mind and positive attitude… and shorts, it gets very warm in the studio during the summer!
This class is for beginners. If you feel like you are a SUPER beginner and need extra attention and explanation of movements, I recommend taking our Intro to Pole series or drop-in classes. The drop-in classes are held Fridays at 7:45pm and Sundays at 8pm.
Private lessons are ideal for people who learn quickly, feel an overwhelming amount of anxiety or frustration when taking a group class, or have a specific goal or skill they want to achieve. If you are interested in a private lesson, please send us a message below with the following:
