Intro to Pole -Single Class
Never taken a pole class? This is the place to start! These are the basic skills that you'll see in every pole class going forward, and will prepare you to jump into our Beginner pole classes. We'll be on the ground the entire time, so no need to worry about upper body strength, but don't be surprised if you feel sore the next day. You'll soon realize pole is a sneaky way to build strength without the dreaded minute-counting of traditional gym workouts (I mean unless that's your thing...)
Feel free to wear comfortable clothes that you can move around in. Yoga pants or sweats work just fine. No jewelry is allowed on the poles. Please do not wear lotion 24hrs in advance, as it will make your hands slick. Water bottles are fine as long as they are not glass. Please be sympathetic to our asthmatic friends and refrain from wearing strong scents.
This class will cover the same material every time. This is great for if you had a good time, want to bring a friend, and know exactly what to expect. Feel free to take this class as many times as you feel comfortable before moving onto our other Beginner Classes.
