At FM Aerial & Movement Arts, we value your safety and your freedom of choice, which is why we have been closed since March 19th of 2020 due to COVID-19. On Thursday, April 30th, Governor Doug Burgum issued an additional executive order that states “On or after 8:00 a.m. May 1, 2020 health clubs and athletic facilities may reopen under the following conditions: the ND Smart Restart: Standards for all Industries and the ND Smart Restart industry-specific standards: Fitness Centersmust be adopted and rigorously followed.” (health.nd.gov) Because of this, we have decided to try to re-open under the new guidelines, with a number of changes.
A few updates:
Classes will be online signup only, where waivers can be found and signed to limit the use of pens inside the studio.
The studio will be cleaned after every class. This includes disinfecting high traffic areas such as doorknobs, and mopping the floors.
No all-access memberships.
Classes must have three people signed up online to be held, otherwise we will call you one hour in advance to cancel class.
Class limit to 5 people, 7 people for Open Studio//Intro to Pole to ensure everyone, including the instructor, has their own equipment.
Aerial classes (Silks and Lyra) are suspended until further notice. If you have your own equipment, and need a training space, please direct message us for options.
Classes will be posted two weeks in advance, if we run out of cleaning supplies, we will need to close the studio until further notice.
Open Studio will be combined with our drop-in Intro to Pole to become Open Studio//Intro to Pole. This means that pole dancers can use the studio for their personal practice, while the instructor teaches the basics of pole to people who sign up for the Intro to Pole class.
Update on Classes:
We will be offering only conditioning classes for the next couple of weeks as we all try to regain our pole muscles. If you are one of the lucky few with a home pole, and would like a more personalized class, we do offer private lessons.
